Sharing Knowledge

Nowadays you can share nearly everything in the web2.0. It started with sharing friends via friendster.com, followed by pictures via Flickr, videos via YouTube and lots of useful and senseless stuff. With Slidshare.com one can share - hence the name - presentation slides about all kinds of issues, slides with any context and in any language (use the language filter).
For me Slideshare is a useful tool when it comes to collect information about a very sophisticated issue. Especially for complex visualisations or illustrations it’s a useful tool to get some inspirations of how an issue could be emphasized with pictures, graphs and all kinds of boxes and circles. The extensive community features give you the complete look and feel of a web2.0 application including most of the “game mechanics” such as points, collecting, exchange, feedback and customization. Slideshare is compatible with all common presentation software.I must admit that Slideshare is a clean and fast running community sharing lots of interesting presentations on the one hand and a good presentation storage on the other.
